This is VERY off topic, but... I've kinda sorta fallen in love with Croatia... Would you say a Norwegian could find a job in Croatia? Would I be able to learn the language in a few years?

Hai. Yes, I thing you have a chance at getting a job here. What's funny, is that everyone here would love to go more to the north, we find central Europe more civilized and cultural, but most of all, the Scandinavian countries. Here you guys are the synonym for well-read, educated, calm, logical, cultured and civilized people. We admire your countries politics. mentality, social benefits and education.
And yet, I keep hearing of Norwegians and Swedes who would love to move here.
With such a background, I think you'll be able to get a job pretty immediately, and you might be even considered a 'luxurious' or 'exotic' addition to any project.
And for the language, I think it's possible. If you were English, less so, but as far as I understand, your language is pretty complex as well, right? So yeah, that could take time, but it's do-able.
What field of work are you interested in?
Oh, and keep in mind that I'm a 21-yearold with limited experience and knowledge of the real world, so I can only tell you what I hear other people saying about the job situation.

I guess we'd like to move to Croatia because it's warm and pretty, but it's not Italy or Spain (we kinda sorta consider Italy and Spain as.. well.. :P)
The Norwegian language ain't that complex (for us Scandinvians at least) :P
As for my field of work, well.... I'm a salesman at heart, but I can do anything from being an IT-Technician to a Lorrydriver.
